Thank
you for your interest in Tutu Fancy Photography. I have a fascination for
photography, people, interesting places & treasurable moments. I would
consider myself a natural light photographer. Natural light photography uses any light source that is naturally
produced without the use of flash equipment or reflectors to change or modify
the existing light. I try to use natural light every time, if at all possible
but if it is not possible, I have supplemental lighting equipment on hand. It is always an incredible feeling,
capturing the magnificence & distinctiveness of each person I photograph.
It is my aspiration that I will create special moments for my clients to look
back on for years to come.
What to Expect
If you choose Tutu Fancy
Photography for your photography needs, you can expect exceptional customer
service, a relaxed, fun atmosphere & a great experience. I love to capture
families and couples naturally interacting and appreciating each other. I
encourage breaks for little ones to have snacks, rest or just take a breath.
Make sure you’re well rested on the day of your photo session. The better you
feel, the better you’ll look. When you arrive for the photo session, please
dance, skip, twirl and laugh, the enthusiasm and bliss will show in your
photographs. I will strive to give you the best possible experience from
preliminary contact to the last print order.
Session Fees
A $25.00 non-refundable
deposit is due at time of booking. The deposit is applied as a credit to your
session fee and the remainder is due via (PayPal) check or credit/debit card 48
hours prior to the session or via cash the day of the session. If you need to
reschedule for any reason, your deposit is good for 6 months.
On Location
Parks, lakes, historic/urban areas and your own backyard are all great locations for photos. If you do not have a location in mind when booking your photo session, I can recommend a plethora of places for your shoot.

Maternity Sessions
Expecting mothers have the most magnificent glow. Pregnancy is an amazingly beautiful time that is meant to be cherished. 1 to 2 months prior to your due date is the best time for a maternity session. Nice full bellies photograph very well but I don’t want you to be uncomfortable. When choosing an outfit for your maternity photos, look for clothes that will accentuate your belly. Also try to wear something loose fitting a couple hours prior to our session so that there are no marks left by tight fitting clothing around your belly.

Usually Newborn sessions take place in the convenience of your own home. Babies often sleep best in a familiar environment. It is best to photograph newborns during the first ten days of life because they are more likely to sleep through different settings and they take well to being positioned. During your newborn session, I will set up my portable studio and take a combination of studio and lifestyle pictures. If conditions are ideal, we can also take some outdoor newborn portraits. Newborns photograph beautifully in their birthday suits or a simple onesie. If you’d like to do more with crowns, bow ties, knit caps, headbands or even little baby tutus, these looks are also fun and posh.

Tots and Youngsters
Children look great in cute hats, shoes, ties, and flower barrettes. Small props from their rooms are great too. If you’re not sure what to wear, you can always start with simple jeans and a shirt, and we can add from there. A well-rested and fed little one is the best photography subject. After nap time is an excellent time to start capturing moments.

Family Sessions
Prior to the shoot we can discuss what photos are most important to you? What are your favorite activities you do as a family? Usually family sessions are held on location using natural light. I like to keep the atmosphere of our shoot light and fun. Little ones usually do better when they are not under pressure. Their smiles are much more genuine when we’re all having fun. I will get their attention, you keep focused on the camera and your smile. The goal is to have a blast taking pictures and by the end of the session, all there is, is laughter and enjoyment!

Engagement

When deciding on a location please think of what fits you, your
style and your partner’s style. It can be somewhere that is special to you or
somewhere that you just love and think photos would be fun to take there. You
may have wardrobe changes and props that you feel will make your photo session
unique. These sessions are peaceful, carefree and fun. Use your imagination!
Senior Portrait session
Many seniors choose to have their own imaginative Senior Portraits taken by a professional
photographer. An Important thing to consider is where you want your Senior Portraits taken? Try to picture
yourself and what you love…That’s where I want to photograph you. If you
don’t have a specific place in
mind…No worries, I’ve got plenty of ideas. Also, a hi-res digital image can
also be sent directly to your school free of charge if needed.
Event Photography
Two weeks prior to your event, please let me know what people and
moments are most important for me to capture. Also, I will need a designated
person to inform me of who each of the guests are. On the day of your event I
am ubiquitous but I try to stay under the radar. I am there to help you if you
need me and I work extra hard to create a careful balance of candid photographs,
details, and landscapes… With emphases on emotion, action and creative
portraits.
After Your Session
I will provide you with a
sneak peak of what I captured within 24 hours of your session. You will find
your sneak peak on my Facebook page where you can tag yourself and share with
family members. Up to 2 weeks after your session, you will receive an
email from me with a link to your private gallery. Please feel free to share your gallery with
family and friends!
Placing Your Order
Your gallery will remain live for 2 weeks (if you need additional
time, please do not hesitate to contact me). Please contact me within
that time frame to place your print order. Print orders can be paid by check or
credit/debit card through pay pal (please let me know if you need to set up
other payment arrangements). Once your order is placed, it will take
approximately 2 weeks for your order to be processed through my photography lab.
When your order is complete, it will be mailed to you or it can be picked
up.
